I’ve just added the last glaze to “Marlborough Day” and it will be released to subscribers from 1st June. It will be the last of my 110 x 110cm pool paintings for now, as we start major building work on the house and we move all our furniture and white goods into 2 rooms, so the latest studio is being torn down (its a tired conservatory) the light has been amazing to work in so I will miss it – but excited about a new work space (and kitchen /family room!).

I’ll definitely be coming back to the larger scale acrylic, I absolutely love working on this scale on unstretched canvas and “Show Your Best Side” was another piece that has really changed my practice. I would like to go bigger still and perhaps try some landscape 1 x 2m and some panoramic water sides.

For now though, I’ll be starting on some smaller pools (half the size of these bigger ones at 50 x 50cm). I’m keen to get into a new scale and different pace. These will be released as a smaller collection on unstretched canvas from 1st July 2023.
