Description

Eden Roc is a landscape acrylic painting on canvas.

This piece comes from childhood holidays viewing houses in France (that we were never going to buy). Hunting down tennis courts (with very basic supplies packed – NO WATER and often the wrong footwear.

The tennis courts we actually played tennis on may not have been this idyllic (the trees providing shade were often not available, the courts were rough and nets sometimes broken).

This memory pulls all the French parks we visited, all the clay courts we spotted (but couldn’t access) and all the beautiful tree lined roads we drove down into one perfect moment.
