What do you paint?
It is common for artists to specialise in one area. I paint pools, gardens and parks in acrylic on canvas. This is what I do best and what I enjoy painting.
So let’s get the boring stuff over with, so we can focus on the fun part..
How much does it cost?
Price is calculated on £17 per linear centimetre. Sizes can range from 50cm – 200cm and includes a bare wood tray frame and delivery within the UK. For international shipping, or bespoke framing, please enquire for any additional cost.
e.g. 100 x 100cm (framed) painting would be as follows:
100 + 100 = 200 (x 17) = £3400
This allows you to choose what suits your needs, based on the hanging space you have in mind and your chosen budget.
How does it work?
Once you have confirmed the size of the painting and we have agreed the subject and your choices, I will require a 25% deposit which I will invoice via email.
This allows me to source materials and cover my time researching and planning with you before I begin painting.
I will give you updates and share a picture of the finished painting before the final 75% payment is invoiced and the work is sent to the framers.
This will be shipped directly to your chosen address as soon as payment has been made.
How long does it take?
Once the deposit has been received and a plan agreed, I will usually begin straight away. I require between 4-6 weeks to complete this for smaller sizes and 8-12 weeks for larger pieces (or more complicated). Framing is another 2 weeks (including shipping) so the whole process is 4-8 weeks (on average). Dates will be confirmed at the time of booking your commission.
The Idea
There is little more exciting than being able to choose what you want from the artwork you hang in your home. Whether that is to create a feeling, invoking a precious memory, or bringing a quiet area to life.
Whatever it is you are looking for in your painting, it’s easier for me to make something you love, if I know what brought you to me.
I will have a few questions about the work you connect with the most. The more information I have, the easier this is for me to get it right.
